This covert christian coward tried to pretend he wasn't the one making a threat on Matt's life by making it in the name of Islam. His goal was to threaten Matt without taking the heat for it personally and without implicating Christianity's character for what it also is, a primitive, threatening, intolerant, creed just as inherently violent as Islam. Read the bible, the christian god (far worse than Hitler) starts right out by murdering the entire human race (except for Noah and family).

I am glad I'm not the only one that felt this way. Two things raised my suspicion. When he said, that "they" were not muslims, it sounded to me like he was referring to real people. Also when he said there was a "new order of christianity"(or something to that affect) made me feel that he was talking about a real group of people that he knew of.

I could be wrong, but the call, to me, felt like a disguised threat.

@Rickenbacker53 Saying atheism isn't growing doesn't make it true. If it isn't growing, then why has church attendance in my country dropped from nearly 100% down to 7% in the last 300 years?

@Rickenbacker53 Actually it is growing. It's gone from some 5% of the population in the mid-20th century, to about 15-20% now, here in America anyway. Also, what he said was put out in plainly spoken English. Very easily understood. Lastly, Matt is not preaching. He is responding to questions asked of him, generally by people uninterested in the answer, and actually interested only in preaching their own ideas.

"Convert to my religion or I'll kill you!" A tried and tested method to spread your religion. Even more effective than threatening eternal damnation. And make sure you train all your soldiers well so they don't accidently burn any "holy books."
