pretty much the same for airbrush artists. He should be wearing a respirator. I got a really bad respiratory burn from doing that. Always protect your lungs!!!!!!!!!

LOL,,,I discovered this on accident by holding my finger over the tip. Thanks for the full technical explanation on this, it does make it easy when it's time to clean your gun.

QUESTION!- do they have these in a smaller version and one that you can fit the compressor in a backpack?

@halo3guyy Not that easy with a full size spray gun as you have the paint feed nozzle plus several air jets, you couldn't block them with one hand let alone one finger, an airbrush you can but thats a different animal altogether.
As DN79 says a bunched up paper towel would likely work OK, but then how hard is it to unscrew the air cap, I mean, really!

Yeah its pretty good idea for base coats and clears.
I still think primers need a good tear down and clean.
