Lobgesang rehearsal December 2nd 2008

This is the General Rehearsal for a concert which featured the Bach Magnificat and Mendelssohn's Symphony no. 2 "Lobgesang" (Song of Praise), performed by the Jerusalem Oratorio Chamber Choir, the Chamber Choir of Jerusalem's Rubin Academy of Music, the Kibbutz Artzi Choir and the Tontine Choir, together with the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of Maestro Stanley Sperber. Here we are rehearsing the section "Die Nacht ist vergangen" from the "Lobgesang". I apologise for the poor quality of the video, which, once again, was done using a small digital camera intended for stills and with limited video capability. The audio capability is, alas, even more limited, causing distortion which is particularly noticeable at the loudest parts.
