would this hopper work on a ion? also, if say i shoot, and im going faster than the hopper, will the ball break inside or what will happen??

Yeah, it will. If your shooting faster than the hopper and eyes are on (the gun) you will not be able to shoot until a ball is loaed into the breech. So no worries.

Then your gun won't shoot fast enough to out do the hopper most likely.

IT WILL FEEd a constant 15 BPS so as long as you shoot less than that you are fine!
It is a lot lighter than a Halo B, not sure Velocity though. It is very light Imo so you should be fine for weight.
