Though these miniatures lack the size of many of their fellow works from Beethoven's Late Period, they lack none of the profundity.

these bagatelles represent the farewell of Beethoven for his dearest instrument, they were considered the best of them by the author, here we have the lyric andante in G major whose voices cover the whole range of the keyboard; the cutting G minor of the following allegro and finally the rich ornamented andante cantabile e grazioso in E flat major, long live ludwig van

Stunning. These pieces are extremely difficult to interpret even by seasoned artists like Brendel. This is truly exceptional from such a young artist.
