The so called updating of special effects is a disaster - unimaginative and out of keeping with the series. The original models were much more convincing. Thanks for posting this though - I now know that I shall steer clear of these bastard editions.

Brilliant! These should be reissued on DVD with these gorgeous effects included - a smashing format for a timeless series.

This episode could not possibly have had arch-enemy Servalan in she returned two episodes later and she was an excellent villain and she stayed in the series until the end although she was not in the final episode Blake. I think Servalan should have been in Blake and got herself shot dead, and it would have given her a dramatic finish which would have been nice.
