Waffle House - The "BERT" single is written and produced by Michael Walter and Jason Phelps. "BERT" is musical satire about a man who thinks his girlfriend is cheating on him with another man. This song was written for Waffle House, Bert Thornton of Bert's Chili™ in honor of the man who created the Waffle House chili recipe.

Bert is great! In 1968, graduated from Georgia Tech. In 1971, joined Waffle House as a dishwasher/busboy and was Vice President four years later.  In 1994, elected to the Board of Directors. In 2004, named President and Chief Operations Officer. In 2008, became President of Franchise Operations. Along the way Invented Waffle House's Bert's Chili and Waffle House City Ham!

Its about time they actually made a Waffle House song worth listening to! lol Their song Over Easy is awesome too, I work at a Wafle House and I am tired of the same old stuff same artists.

I get the triple hashbrowns topped with chili and cheese (sometimes onions too). It costs less than $4 and totally fills you up. Don't expect spicy chili though, it's mild for the masses.
