  • thanks for posting this... my sister and me always sang the sunshine song but dint know the name of cartoon.. aah.. i am 27 and still i remember every scene and music in this cartoon!! :)

  • My parents grew up with this cartoon because they watched it on t.v. in the 50s or 60s. I think my grandmother watched this cartoon in the theatres. It was probably played before the feature film. She bought us a video tape with this cartoon and several others on it for Christmas one year. We loved it. When I went through my depression my mom threatened to play this show over and over until I got happy. Watching it usually put a smile on my face, even for a few seconds

  • I loved this cartoon

  • I have been trying to find this cartoon for most of my adult life. My brother & I loved this. I must have been 5 when I first saw it,...that was 60 years ago.

  • This was actually a subtle promotional film for Borden's Milk, originally released in January 1935, produced and directed in New York by Ted Eshbaugh. It was later reissued as a Van Beuren "Rainbow Parade" cartoon, without the plugs for Borden.

  • dude, they r like worshiping the sun, not cool

  • I remember watching this as a child. I can't believe I found it !

  • My God, I remember this being on TV before I was in school. I mite as well give my age away--53

  • This is brilliant!! Thank you for posting this!! My earliest memories have this cartoon in it! My sisters and I always sing the song and we couldn't remember where it was from!!! ha ha AWESOME
