Frank Sinatra
Reprise Recordings 1970
Comp ; G. Harrison

Something in the way she moves
Attracts me like no other lover
Something in the way she woos me

I don't want to leave her now
You know I believe her now

Somewhere in her smile she knows
That I don't need no other lover
Something in her style that shows me

Don't want to leave her now
You know I believe her now

You're asking me will my love grow
I don't know, I don't know
You stick around now it may show
I don't know, I don't know

Something in the way she knows
And all I have to do is think of her
Something in the things she shows me

Don't want to leave her now
You know I believe her now

  • This is like kickass. George is my favorite beatle bro and to hear sinatra do this shit is pretty badass, know what I mean

  • I read that he was actually being funny and ironic when calling it a lennon mccartney song

  • @6EnY6 Yeah but Sinatra wrongly called it the best Lennon/McCartney song.

  • @bombtuckles This is not Lennon/Mccartney song .. this is Harrison song ..!!!!

  • @bombtuckles Another goof was that he would address any Beatle he'd meet as "Ringo."

  • @KUTVgroucho The greatest "Lennon/McCartney" song... That's the goof.

  • @wrightchix Sinatra certainly mellowed his attitude toward rock composers by the time he recorded this. Ten years earlier he would have been spitting on the ground at the very mention of anything connected to "rock 'n roll" (This is according to Kitty Kelly's bio). Perhaps Mia Farrow helped him mellow! His version of "Mrs. Robinson" is excellent as well.

  • @KUTVgroucho He praised the hell out of it!
