The chinese people must identify people like Liu who obviously is plodding the downfall of the chinese people under pretext of free speech etc. He is brain washed by the West. Such a pity a brilliant mind gone to waste! Better to sacrifice him and save the Chinese nation. Simple as that.

The so called "rare earths" is a none issue, for the world has plenty to go around, US is 1 of the nations who has richest deposit. This is a issue made up by the West, in attempting to empty-up China's resourses. Of course Chine would "fight back", & now you are unhappy. Why?

@Xenrageful, the world run by the West for the past 500 years has NOT been a fair world; it only benefits a dozen European nations & put the rest of the world in the hell. Unless you admit this, you have no business to point finger at China. We fell from the richest nations to the poorest nation in the world because of what the West did. But no matter how high the relationship with those african nations is, China should not abuse it in order to cut down certain peoples freedom. I hope China simply will respect that not every man is belong to them, even if it is directly affecting them. And i dont know if the CIA accusations regarding Liu is granted for sure, China might need to show a solid proof of it, not only words... words is something China is always using toward theyr advantage and we all know what.

Nowadays China is using it to "fight" the US with, since they try to shorten they output which will make other nations sick. However, many little nations are much more friendly towards Chinas interest and its probably not good to go against all those countrys because, even China can need some friendship. Ofc China was buying Airbus and not Boing, since Airbus is the better choice for them as long as it isnt US.. even  if France was welcoming Dalai Lama, they simply had to accept it.

It have to be said clearly, many nations, with US on top of it, truly was abusing africa for theyr own need without giving back any real value, they just was robbing it, and thats simply a fact. Now China wants theyr ores, but as long as they give back real value and stuff they truly need, its probably the fairest deal they ever got. In Mongolia there is the highest amount of those "rare earths" so its a very valuable country for China and they know what.

China got the possibility, in term they succeed to advance human value, to be a true supermacy and to be respected by any nation in a high term which goes beyond materialism and its interest. However, in the current time most nations only love China for they strong economy and the advantage they can make out of it. Many african country need chinese products, and China want theyr ores... easy as that but it works.
