On Friday 28th December, in the lull between Christmas and the New Year, a group of Hydroactive's instructors and Divers Helmet club members from North Hertfordshire went to the National Dive Centre at Stoney Cove in Leicestershire to perform an underwater nativity.
The original idea was to take a photograph for next year's Christmas card, but like all good ideas it expanded and ended up as a full-blown production!
Colds and flu depleted the cast on the day; only one King turned up and none of the sheep made it, but unabashed, the production went ahead anyway.
One of the angels lost her wings which floated away, but with a full safety back up team on hand that was the only mishap.
The whole experience was great fun for everyone involved and plans for next year's production are already underway!
