Wuhan Tianhe International Airport (IATA: WUH, ICAO: ZHHH) serves Wuhan, Hubei, People's Republic of China. It was opened on April 15, 1995. The airport is located around 26 kilometres to the north of Wuhan city center and is the busiest airport of central China as it is geographically located in the center of China's airline route network. In 2007, the airport handled 8,356,340 passengers, ranking 12th in China.
