i'd say if the m14 did not have the traditional rifle grip (replace it with a similer butstock of the m16 family with a similer grip.) it would probably be still used as the main combat rifle for the us military. but the m1 grand dose have it's place as one of histories finest rifles.

Edit: this " mountain way up there" is about 175 yrds away. Unless your blind u can see every single hit.

Don't know why I take the time to answer ppl like you. There us a 300 ft. mountain face that is straight up and down with about 20, 3 foot caves on it. It is on private property in a national forest. It is an actual shooting range. They are far from "idiots with experience" I hope you can undestand what I'm telling you.

Lol guess u found ur answer semperfi211. They are shooting on private property in a national forest so yah there is plenty of uninhabited. And again they were shooting at a mountain side that cannot be seen in the vid.
