  • Thank you for posting this. Very well done. We just bought our first home with a well. I don't think the water from the well stinks (coming from the well) - but the pipes in the house is causing the water to stink (rotten egg). I am hoping this process will clean out the stink within the house. It is snowing here in Michigan - so I will have to wait till the weather clears up to do this. When I do I will try and remember to repost the results.

  • (Continued): This will empty the pressure tank. Once the pressure tank is empty, restore power to the pump. This will recharge the pressure tank. I repeated this 5 times.
