Isnt the History channel owned by News Corp.(Fox News Channel) they also puchased the majority share of NAT GEO...notice the program line-up on Nat Geo ..war,prisons,drugs,911, Jesus,armageddon,freak lifestyles,end of the world,border wars,lockdown,when aliens attack. Very little educational programming anymore.

Why would the History Channel jeopardize its brand? Are you kidding me? How many bullshit shows do they do about Nostradamas, for one. And thats to say nothing of the insane amount of speculative work they do, like Life After People (granted, a cool show, but NOT HISTORY). The channel isn't really worth its name anymore half the time, even during its enjoyable programs.

Fantasy History channel. I stopped watching it long ago. How many times can you watch The History of the Gun and every foot of film footage of WWII. Another corporate propaganda outlet. I'm so tired of the hackneyed war stuff...America living on past military laurels while invading innocent countries to steal their oil.
