Yall want a long and safe career in aviation? I stress to you one word and one ideology that kept me totally accident and incident free until 9/11:SAFETY, SAFETY and SAFETY. Even as an airshow performer you have to stress that everyday you fly..... or else it's the law of averages knocking at your door one day.

I loved watching the guy over the years, he could torture an airframe unlike any other. Jim was always the centerpiece of the shows for me. You couldn't watch one of his shows without smiling and shaking your head.
I was at Dayton for his final show. Watching that accident shook me up pretty badly... I haven't been to an air show since

This is what I was telling my mom. The Show in Bagtoville was great, but most of it it was all because of Jim and without him, it really won't be the same :(
