  • Y did they go with an all plastic back?i know they need plastic 4 the inductive charging but they could of made it aluminum around the edges 4 rigidity & a 3mp camera @ rear.U can share web pages & soon files & app settings/data between the tab & pre3.but now apple is trying to patent the same idea & will try & own this i.P. webOS is generations ahead, but the hardware is old technology & doesnt reflect the idea of what webOS is.its ahead of its time, simple & productive.give it metal casings!

  • all good points, thanks, Chris Nuttall

  • what you can do with this - compared to the iPad 2 Resizable Keyboard (number row fixed on top) Synergy Built in Skype integration Beats Stereo Speakers SMS and call forwarding Flash support Built in Printer app Touch to Share Just Type (Quick Actions) Inductive Charging True Multitasking (live cards) Off screen up swipe (card view and launcher) Light notification on home button fOver the Air Updates Mass Storage You went over the cons. I just balanced the review.
  • It was inevitable the first touchpad wasn't going to be on par with it's main competitors. It's still a good little device with some big ideas. I'm sure that once hp gets into motion the touchpad 2 + 3 will be much better and by then they should have more developers on board. I'm a massive apple fan and the touchpad with it's webos could be Apples biggest competitor.

  • WebOS looks intuitive. It's a shame that the hardware isn't up to par with the competition considering it costs the same. Too bad there aren't many tablet optimized apps but no doubt this will change as it gets more established and attractive to developers. Hopefully the next touchpad will represent better value than its competitors.

  • nice review.
