Nobody shines a light on them because it happens too often, and most women dont really have a voice in this foresaken world, especially in third world countries. (Im not excluding men). So when a celebrity gets beat up, newscast have the opportunity to shine the light on this issue and expose what actually goes on, and more people will listen because it is a celebrity. duh
