I got this for $30 lol and came with free engines that were a .049 (Thats dead sized piston and burnt glow head) and a K&B .28. It has good compression and with a .049 prop (5" 1/2) and first start in 20 years pritty beat up but running strong.

Note: The title in the video is wrong lol.

  • I have that same engine it was given to me by my tech teacher so i could fix it it looks exactly the same except it has a gold finish.Glad I found out what it is. How old is that model engine and how do you remove the top of the cylinder?

  • @andyboy4707 just unscrew it but if its too hard by hand then you have to make a tool your self or use pair of vice grips and rag to undo it

  • I have 30 like this but i don't have the tools for work whit this motors... where i can find the tools on line?.

  • @BioTechMx you have 30 of these engines? ill buy some

  • Had one of those on a FF golber Ranger (30 was it.....sheet balsa wing with lots of dihederal). I only got a couple of flights out of it, then couldn't get engine to run. I found it the other evening....should clean it out and see if she'll go. Even found a new 4(?)x 2(?) prop for it....metallic silver, they were easy to bust as I recall.

  • @gumbykevbo might be the copper reed thats bad. Try to get some newer plastic or steel reed on ebay like i did because my copper one almost rotted away and was not sealing well
