Why do u have the left shifter working the back brake it should go for the front brake and the right shifter should control the back brake. Also u are cross chaining switch to the large chainring

because, in the '80 the brake was like this.

and also in the moto the front brake is on the right.

@milkthecow11 Maybe. In America, the left hand is used for signaling, and motorcycles are designated with the RH/FB setup, so it is wise here to run RH/FB on bicycles. A lot of dept store bikes come with the brakes backwards because most Americans are right handed, and do not know how to operate a front brake properly. hahahaha

@stopglobalswarming Actually mate in Europe (excluding uk ) they run there right shifter as there rear brake they have always done that in england is the other way around

@tommo2785 yes in america bikes have the front brake controlled with the left and the back brake with the right . All the bikes that are in the store usually like this all the specialized, giants and cervelos are like this unless you want to change it. But i'm used to having on the right that's why it seems so weird but we all have our ways.
