Muesli pre ride mountain bike breakfast, loaded with carbohydrates, both simple and complex. The best thing about it is it tastes great and you can take it with you and eat in the car! (Unlike cereal)

  • Much better than the steel cut oats! Those were good too, and cheaper by far..less prep too. I'm a fruit guy though, and the yogurt in there along with that really makes it a favorite of mine.

  • @4thatdude1, yeah, the Muesli tastes better with all of the different textures, gooeyness and crunch of the nuts. BUT, I think the Steel Cut Oats has an edge with carbo loading and sustained levels of glucose for energy production.
