On Monday January 25 the town of Fort Erie council is having a planning meeting that is a step toward passing a bylaw that will allow the Mollinaro group to build a 12 storey condominium on the lakefront at the Bay Beach Waterfront Park . After completion the land would be turned over to the condominium corporation for free. Also the town has voted to pay $55,000 for the environmental assessment which is usually the responsibility of the developer. The property is worth well over $3 million, were talking about our money, the taxpayers money. The Developer has no risk. What a sweet deal. The condo complex means: reduced access, less parking, and less public park area. It does not fit with the town. Click links for more info. Please E-Mail the town clerk Carolyn Kett at ckett@town.forterie.on.ca And Shirley Cordiner Niagara Region Representative at: Shirley.Cordiner@niagararegion.ca I AM AGAINST THE MOLINARO DEVELOPMENT PLAN. I WOULD LIKE BAY BEACH TO REMAIN PUBLIC. NAME:
