How to play PS1 backups on PS2

The title says it all. It really works!!

HOW TO BURN PSX ISOS
1. Open up ImgBurn, google it to find links for download.
2. On the place that says "Source" click the folder with the mag. glass and select the iso you want. Make sure you unzip it before selecting!!!(If the iso is in parts, then unzip the part that is the smallest in size/ the last part of the iso, then select).
2.Insert CD-R into disk drive, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE CD BURNER!!.
3. On ImgBurn in the "Destination" section, select the drive in which you inserted your CD into.
4.On "Settings" make the write speed 2x and of course 1 copy. DO NOT WRITE AT HIGHER SPEED THAN 2X, THIS CAUSES SOME FLAWS IN THE BURNED GAME!!!
5.Click the icon that displays a hard drive with an arrow pointing to a disk.
6. Wait for burning to finish and ur done!
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
*If you want to burn ps2 isos, follow the exact same steps, except substitute the CD-R for a DVD-R, pending on what type of game you have. Make sure you have a DVD writer for burning ps2 isos
1. Do not use media such as Memorex or crap made from America or Taiwan!! These CDs are known to be the worst for games. I have a list of media that works 95-100% of the time:
Taiyo-Yuden
Maxell
Sony
Pioneer
(anything made from japan is always good :) )
2.Any standard CD burner will work when burning games.
3.This technique(not burning, playing) WILL NOT work with ps2 isos
i.e.(download a ps2 iso, burn it, then using the same technique substituting the ps1 disc with a ps2 disc. I have tried it and it does not work, if you want to run burned ps2 games on your ps2, get a mod chip or boot disc like swap magic.

@dabadguy4273 mine it happens also on the original ones. when i play one original disc like mr. driller there are some days which it works and which it doesn't work. when it doesn't work it freezes to the PS logo or to select language after selected language or sometimes it loads but the music is corrupted.sometimes it even scrambles the PS logo (it turns a strange shape).

@lucas66568 probly cuz you burned it wrong, because some ps1 games have wav files on the disc so it must only be reading those files

95 precent dvds memorex i burn it ps2 games and woks fine beter then fujifilm

dvds, fujifilm dvds made in japan Tdk also made in japan and piece of crap

u need to hit power buton five times sometimes more to boot games i have a moded ps2

but memorex dvds u insert disc hit reset or power and game boot

u said memorex dvds are bed thats not true

I get what you're saying and everything up to the point where you slide it back.. I can't seem to figure out how to slide the disc back in place.. Help please??
