  • Who I am? I am the man that you called an arsehole , remember? Idiot.

  • @bretzelesser haha, you think you're someone. Just bore off man.

  • So why did you make it?. You worked hard getting every sound and every phrase of the original right. Quite good so far. But you didn´t take care of the groove, the phrasing, all the little important details that made this music so energetic and WORTH LISTENING TO.

Maybe you didn´t have that in mind when doing your work, but then: why post it?

You ask me to press "dislike" and move on. OK my comments are a more sophisticated way of pressing "dislike". Dislike with a hint. Now I move on.

  • @bretzelesser Who the hell are you.. haha yeah just move on.

  • @bretzelesser so basically no one should ever try anything unless they get it 100% right first time?

  • @bretzelesser you are SUCH a wasteman, you sound like you've put your comments through google translator.

    Sounding great Dan! ;)

  • This is actually amazing. 10/10 for capture!

  • Mate of mine tried to do bird land, but noone could quite do the bass like Jaco

  • @bretzelesser instead of writing unqualified comments you should do music like that. it has a very cool character particularly with the saxophone

  • If people want to complain then they should post something better. This track has plenty of groove and phrasing, so I really can't see the complaint. A2 students are 17/18 years old, I teach music tech and none of my students would be able to produce anything close to this, so share your opinion, that's fine, but you can't just slate someone's coursework which they clearly spent a lot of time on and got an A for. Some people just complain because they can.

  • I teach music technology and have been in semi pro jazz bands; for what it's worth I think you have done really well. I wish I had students this good! This version of Watermelon is not easy to get right in my experience and the groove is not bad considering that it is multi-tracked. I certainly could not do better without a band to play off.

  • @bretzelesser Man this is wicked! I think you have the groove down really well, great playing, nicely recorded and mixed, a triumph! Im a music/music tech teacher and know what i can hear - well done.

  • @bretzelesser who the fuck are you? the guy playing most of the instruments on this is a great musician, his groove is tighter than your tight ass asshole you fucking tight ass asshole! Do a version of Chameleon, play the instruments and record and mix it...and see if you get 'the phrasing, all the little important details that made this music so energetic and WORTH LISTENING TO.'

stupid dick, first you say he worked hard to get every phrase right then say how he didnt take care of phrasing...

  • @dannybighair Cheers for the comment, much appreciated. I dont know who these people are, expecting me to call herbie and his friends to sit in on my A level coursework..
