This is so cool man! I've recently bought a 550d and all I keep hearing about is Magic Lantern, I didn't realise it did time lapsing to!

@zstamey84 The scenery, colouring and even the soundscape reminded me of the time lapses often shown in the series. I thought it might have been an inspiration. I couldn't find any decent example clips.
Nice one anyway!

@zstamey84 why didn't you just shoot a video instead of making pictureS?

I encounter a problem, if I shot many pictures in a time of 4 hours for example would I would last the battery charge? if I change the battery could move the camera ...
-
a question, how much did you give him time interval between shots? thanks

@GanEdenVideo I honestly don't remember, I'm sorry. It has been a while and it was my first attempt with time lapse on my T2i. I didn't get it exactly right either but it worked out. I've learned that it all depends on what you are trying to capture and that using filters or turning your f-stop to like 20 or something and then dragging your shutter to a slower speed definitely helps. It keeps things from being so rigid and really helps add motion blur that you would see when shooting video.

@LongshotGaming Magic Lantern is software that is added to the camera. It has a lot of functions but specifically for this video I used the intervalometer feature to shoot time lapse photos without the need of additional hardware or controls. Then I just dropped all the photos into the timeline in Sony Vegas and rendered it out as video. Hope that helps. Just google Magic Lantern Firmware for more info.
