I recently posted Polyphemus' aria from Handel's Italian version of Ovid story of the shepard, the water nymph, and the cyclops. This is his later English language version. Again Poyphemus - the cyclops - is a bass although this one is easier vocally.

@vaguet2 I listened to Dawson's version yesterday. It made me sick. I felt so unworthy. But if I managed to remind you of his much better version, I'm glad.

Excellent - clear tone! Love the pics, especially the two eyed chests! I learned this from the great, vintage Peter Dawson record.
