I do love the song and especially this excellent performance. Does anybody know whether somewhere else a good audio quality is available?

@TBon3Supl3x Lol I just find it funny you're so 'insulted' by my comments. It's just my opinion based on the various interpretations I've seen.. chill out. I just have to ask one question... do you even ENJOY shows? It seems like every video, you have something bad to say about someone's performance. If I may be so bold to say, these people you think suck have jobs on Broadway and are members of AEA and to qualify for that, you have to be good. You just need to learn to enjoy the arts...

@BroadwayKidNamedJosh ... nice try. Funny you say that because I saw it on b'way live, Christopher sung it perfectly as he does on the album, maybe you should listen to it again That ending was unintentionally terrible and nothing in the song calls for a singer who can't vocally produce the notes written without sounding strained except with the "now we're into E". Furthermore if your ridiculous justification were right why does Marin here sing the B so beautifully? Again nice try but just no.

@TBon3Supl3x Um... seriously are you an idiot? EVERY performer sings that last note like that. It is HOW IT IS WRITTEN. The point of the song is how they are whining about in every show there is a "song that goes like this" and by the end of the song, they're over it. The last note is meant to be sung strained and nasty sounding, in every production it's done like that. Go look at the original, the tour casts, listen to the CD because it's always done like that.

The man is Lewis Cleale.

That guy sort of lost it at the end...

@sk8rchic41123 did you hear that last note. Marin Mazzie is amazing but this guy is dreadful. The "now we're into E" is supposed to be funny not embarrasing. And that last note... why did he even try? If it sounds like that on any day it's not worth going for ever.

I like Chris Sieber and Sara Ramirez better

I was wondering the same thing myself. I looked it up on IBDB, and that says that Chris Sieber was playing the role when this was performed. Does anybody know who the man is?

this is too funny
The point of the "now we're into E" thing is that it's SUPPOSED to sound bad. That's the joke. He sounds perfectly fine the rest of it, to me.
