This book was a lifesaver. All my life I was taught about a mean and distant God. After the Shack I at least have hope.

I believe the shack should be made to movie. it will only help. Help IS Good. I will say that, I believe he had such experience. I had some . myself. that cant explain . yet. My grandfather had some and my dad. believe me when i say this, The old men of renown is not christian men who believe in God . NOah was that and he was not identified as that. NOah had words from encoh from God. IT is how he saw Grace in God .

Its funny people don't know this is a book of fiction.
You just never questioned it, that's fine, but at least you now have a different perspective that what you read is not always true.
Much like the bible, its a work of Fiction, yet no one questions it, where it came from, who wrote it.
So blame yourself for not being skeptical and just taking what you read to be true and accurate, instead of taking into account the possibility that any book you read can be fictional.

After this interview, I learned that The Shack is actually a metaphor for the place where we were hurt and got stuck because we did not know how to forgive those who hurt us "As we forgive those who trespassed against us." And no matter how alone we feel, no matter what we have done or is doing, God is right there if we allow Him to be."Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. @darwinsman there is plenty of evidence to prove that God exsists. 1) the earth is TOO COMPLEX tojust come out of an explosion. First let me ask you, what comes out of explosions? Destruction. NOT a perfect earth with a complexity so great. If the earth was the slightest bit larger, the gravity would be so huge we all would be squashed like a bug. If the earth was a little bit smaller, it would be harder for plate tectonics to move, thus allowing the moon to escape our gravitational pull, and w

Well, maybe it is a revelation. The prophets have images coming from their head. Battlestar made people believe in God but question his kindness. Like He is just playing with us.

Bro, one thing is to read book & enjoy it because: it touches you emotionally, it makes you feel good, it has lovely descriptions, etc., but ANOTHER thing is if it's 100% true,or not! :) What good does it make me if I feel good, but there is not much truth in it? I thought this is a REVELATION from God, but it ain't - it's not even a vision, it's just a story in someone's mind. I am not saying it's completely false, but one drop of poison make you die. Battlestar G. made people doubt or believe?
