Joes pov.
Part of me was mad at her, the other part was happy to see her. I didn't really know what to feel so i kinda ignored her and just listened to the teacher.
So i guess what i forgot to tell you was her name, demi of course; and also how we met.
Well demi is a year younger than me but i dont care about that, so yeah in math she was above the average grade of a freshman so she got sent up to my math class [sophomore] demi was the smartest in the class and well my grades kept dropping so the teacher decided i needed a tutor so obviously demi got to tutor me, we got to know eachother and were super close [and no not that kind of 'got to know eachother' you pervs] so after a couple of months i asked her out and she said yes, then it went from there.
We went out for 2 years, then she just left like that; im a senior now. The class was over in no time and i walked out into the corridor starting to make my way to my locker.
End of pov.
[They had a double english lesson yeah idk how schools work in america but in the uk its usually two periods then break another two periods then lunch then another two periods and then its end of school so yeah...]
English has finished and now its lunch, Joe walks straight out the classroom trying to avoid any contact with demi, hes quite confused atm and his main focus is to find his friends.
Demi:[Following joe, he slows down a bit so she grabs his arm] Um...
Joe:[looks at her hand holding his wrist then back at her]
Demi:Hi.. [laughs nervously and notices him looking at his wrist so she immediatly lets go]
Joe:Hey?
Demi:[looks at him weird, kinda frowning] is something wrong?
Joe:er, yeah i suppose. I mean my girlfriend left without saying anything and now a year on shes back.
Demi:[looks down shifting her hands then looks back up at him with an awkward look on her face] uh yeah could we.. maybe talk about it?
Joe:K but i gotta meet the guys in 15 minutes.
Demi:[Smiles] sure.
Joe:[he starts walking off with demi trailing behind him]
A couple of minutes later]
Joe:[sits down at the spot]
Demi:[she stops and a smile comes across her face] You still come here?
Joe:sometimes, if im in a bad mood or just wanna be alone.
Demi:Oh.. [The pair were on a field, well you wouldnt really call it a field as it was quite small and they had some of their stuff there, it was round the back of the school; no one else knew it was there] [demi sits down next to him]
So im guessing you got my letter?
Joe:yeah. [awkward silence] why'd you leave, dems?
Demi:Long story; my mom wanted us to move closer to our dad and she found a pretty good job there.
Joe:and why'd you move back?
Demi:mom+dad got back together and they wanted to move back, they didnt really say why though.
Joe:mhm. [long silence] [sighs] Demi, im not gonna lie; i didnt stop thinking about you.
Demi:[nervous smile] uh...
Joe:are you gonna say something? maybe like [does a chick voice] "i didnt stop thinking about you either joe"
Demi:[giggles but then she stops and looks down]
Joe:[looks away and nods his head] i get it, you found another guy; its cool.
Demi:[looks back at him] No N- [sighs]
Joe:[turns back to her and raises an eyebrow with a confused look on his face] so you didn't?
Demi:[serious] look it wasn't like that, it was NEVER like that; i guess you could call it a fling or something.. idk. [getting kinda stressed]
Joe:oh, im glad you moved on [kinda dissapointed]
Demi:No Joe--
Joe:[shakes his head getting up] no its cool i get it. [walks off]
Demi:[when he finally walks off she lets out a heavy sigh] UGH! [puts her head in her hands but then leans back and hits her head] ow! [turns around looking at the wall] stupid idiot! look where you're going! [freaked out by herself] did i just talk to a wall? weird. [gets up and walks off too]
[Demi walks to the cafeteria and goes to a familiar table]
Demi:[covers selenas eyes] Guess who?
Selena:umm.. Tiffany? Taylor? No no no i got this is it ummm NICK?!
Nick:Hey! i'm right here and i so do not sound like- [looks up a little shocked] DEMI?!
Selena:demi?! wheres demi?! whats going on! why can't i see anything!
Demi:[uncovers her eyes] uh sel sweetie, i think its cause' i was still covering your eyes.
Selena:[stands up immediatly and a huge grin appears on her face] demi it really is you omgsh!
Demi:[laughs and hugs her]
Selena:[pulls away] when did you get back? why didnt you call? or text! or fax! i have so much to tell you [emphasises on omg] ohhhhhhmyyyyyyyyyygoshhhhhhh did you hear-- wait you didn't hear you were at where ever you were at which wouldn't be the place where i am because you was at
the place you were and that isnt where i was so it wouldnt be where you was and so you wouldnt be at where- [confused look] i confused myself.
