Another with the GREAT John Hughey and Bill Ferguson.
I told John to take it easy on me, but boy, did he eat my cake. We had a great time. Well, at least I did. hehe
I have other video's on Google because they are large files.

  • Now Bill... if ANY of us have our lunch eaten, that was the man you wanted doin' the eating!! The thing that is hard to believe is that he was a better man than a steel player... I think that's 'nuff said...

... also, thanks so much for all of your recordings thru the years... Bill, you've done more to archive the great players of our day than anyone else... again... thank you!

  • tru

  • Whooooaaa! To bad that John isnt with us anymore. but that song was a very good choise so i putted it in my favorites so keep um comin.

hope to hear more from ya bill.

  • Bill, I don't think John, followed your advise of "taking it easy on you", but your a terriffic player too. I'll be honest, Bill, you jumped the beat a little, but you have a great style and good sense of all this stuff. I'm being a little tough on you with this, but playing with a "monster" like John Hughy, I'd be a little rattled too, but you still did a good job. Marc Trainor (another pedal steel player).

  • John must have had a job once where he got paid by the note. He played twice as many as you did! hahaha

Great clip. Thanks for posting it.

  • Here's them boys again!! ahhh!!

    good job killer pickin.

  • Man oh man, ol' John sure rocked that ride! (And you weren't so bad yerself Bill!) :-)

  • I always think of John as being more of a balladeer, he really took that one outside though!
