This is a theme song from the 2009 Japanese TV Series, "Jin". The title stands for a traditional Chinese and Japanese term used predominantly in describing the passion, love and kindness of doctors and government officials towards the people. The story is about a plain-looking, male, modern-day hospital surgeon who was thrown back in time to a late-18th-century Tokyo, and finding out what the true meaning of being a doctor is, ....

It expresses our protagonist's longing for his love that he left behind in today's Tokyo during his adventures. This TV Series is very well written and produced, and a powerful tearjerker.
