Beat Emerald Weapon in 1 minute and 15 seconds!

Hello there, I'm Luxikhar aka Dj_Darkness or even Sephiroth on some places...

This is my first video, so sorry about the quality. Since i recorded it from my Digital Camera, the quality isn't the best... And if anyone knows about a good recording program, please let me know! I appreciate it!

Now onto the video: Like the tittle says, it's me killing emerald weapon on 1 minute and 15 seconds! I used almost the same strategy of the famous japanese video... So, many thanks to whoever did that video, it inspired me for trying it myself!

I hope you like it, and again sorry about the bad quality... If i'm able to record it at higher quality, i will upload it!

ive never played this game and i often hear that Emerald weapon is on many"hard to beat" list. I told my friend that Penance from ffx was hard. He said"nah- try defeating emerald weapon or ozmo and youll see what hard means" .  But now.. i stick to Penance or Yiazmat, in terms of hard bosses.

@lindh76m Except if you think that Emerald Weapon is not hard, i have a 100% sure way of beating Penance without dieing once. It's completely foolproof. And Yiazmat is only a crapload of HP digits, he is not even hard.

Holy shit... what's with the high-quality Cloud model on the world map (seen for a split second before entering the submarine). I can tell from the music it's the PC version, but is that a mod, or did they just make it look better?

@88Mobius88 It's not very hard I played the game through multiple times on my old PSX and defeated the emerald weapon on encounter by accident, it's called getting the knights of the round materia and all that Jazz, it's possible without cheats, you just gotta learn your shit

Note he has 7 combos of Counter-Mime. Mime is a materia that copies the last move, so he uses his Angermax Limit Break, then if he uses Mime after, it does it again. Well he has the counter materia paired to Mime. When Emerald attacks him, he responds with seven mimes of his Angermax attack, which takes off something like 140,000hp. So that's eight limits in total, over 1 mill total hp taken from Emerald. Emerald has 1 million (I think?) = emerald dead.

You guys make me sick, I got OWNED by Emerald and Rudy alike, I didn't even beat the game killing them. Now I see videos on youtube bragging about "Ohh, I beat Emerald in a minute and 15 seconds" or "Yeah, I kill Ruby with no materia and no items"

.... sick I tell you, sick!
