  • I really love what DeMint is doing now. He is becoming more and more visible as a person trying to defend the Budget.

He needs to focus on balancing the Budget tho. We all love to help people and give them Healthcare. But not when we can't afford it.

  • We are not a democracy, we are a Republic. You can not, by mob rule, vote away our individual, inalienable GOD GIVEN rights to property or freedom. The corrupted, coerced, bribed votes do not make the health care issue right or moral. Our history is governance by voluntary consent, not by force of government. The powers of government and government officials are strictly limited by our

constitution and you shall have no right to exert force on the American people who have hurt no one.

  • GOP To Abandon Their Federal Health Benefits !!!

    McConnell and Boehner:

We were surprised to read in today's article "GOP frosh: Where's My Health Care?" in Politico that some of your incoming members are unhappy with the health benefits they are eligible to purchase under the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program (FEHBP) - particularly the fact that there is a delay before benefits take effect. Ironically, this is the same predicament millions of Americans currently find themselves in.

  • @bigdogphoto Oh thats funny, but you seem to have forgotten your "constitutional rights" during the bush era. You complain about healthcare reform. Granted we just spent over a trillion dollars on it., but remember,...ITS HEALTHCARE!!!! Not a trillion dollars to have kids run through the desert to look for something that isnt there!! Why dont we cut some of it out of defense?? most of it goes over seas anyways.

  • @DDannyUSAF It might have been unpopular before, but now the approval rating is higher than the disapproval rating. At the moment, at least, it won't hurt anyone or anything.

  • The bill is unpopular with the majority of the American people, we can't afford it, it was passed with seedy back room deals and a last minute deal with Bart "Caveman" Stupak on the backs of the unborn with a phantom executive order! Repeal the bill, repeal the socialists in Congress, Senate and the White House!

  • Obama- keep the change, you filthy animal!

  • The firewall between government and commerce has been violated and deteriorated to a point that soon will not be able to distinguish what is private property and what is government property. If the government can confiscate huge segments of industry under the guise of saving them, what makes you think they can't come for your personal property next? Anyone taking that mortgage relief deal? Pelosi's going to save your 401k and make you buy US Treasuries? Wake up people! Defend our Constitution!

  • Democrat's definition of bi-partisanship is that you agree with them 100%. Nice try, jerk.

  • so demint says republicans are not gonna be bi partisan but when democrats were trying to be bi partisan you don't like it.

    HYPOCRISY!!!

We don't have to, but they better!!!!

  • If you focus on repealing this bill you're going to look like sore losers. The American public will not be interested in having you take away the gains we've made against the insurance companies. Repeal the pre-existing exclusions... are you kidding? Who would be in favor of that?

I predict that the GOP will forget about repealing HC reform.

When the polls increasingly show how much the public likes this law, the GOP will quickly distance itself from this fight.
