A song from the 1920's magazine The Quill updated by Tuli to describe New York's bohemian quarter, Greenwich Village, as it was at the end of the 20th century. Performed in 1992 at the Poetry Project, at St. Marks in the Bowery , New York City. First aired on Revolting News in 1992 ( webcast at mnn.org ch. 56 alternate Mondays 10 PM New York time)

  • this is great, thank you

  • toooooooooooooooooooo long intro>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

  • Didn't know much of him; I like the earthy goofy language-trickster radicalism, the BEST of Jewish tradition was he.

  • RIP Tuli Kupferberg.

  • Nice stuff as always. Love the song.
