  • If you plant it upside down it'll sprout in China and you'll have to import it all over again. Break the cycle - plant it correctly.

  • Crazy-I had some garlic cloves just sitting on my stove, and after a few weeks I looked at them, and they sprouted! Its neat. No water. Then I planted them.

  • What is the shelf life of a fresh garlic clove?

    Should I refrigerate?

    Thanks.

  • Great tips!! Many thanks for this video! Really good guide!

  • How long does a Garlic take to sprout? :)

  • 6 inches, wow, that 's a pretty big distance. I've experimented with distances for a while and I find that production for the space you have is higher if you plant them about 4-5 inches apart. Sure they'll shade each other out a bit more and that will make them a bit smaller, but as far as the quantity and overall production, more seems to be better. If you want to have maxed out size bulbs, I would suggest 6-8 inches, but if you're going for production, plant them closer.

  • Thanks for the video..

  • Ah garlic time again :)
