Professor Sean Chamberlin, Fullerton College instructor, occasional oceanographer, and ex-oil-spill response guy, attempts to make some sense out of the Gulf Oil Spill. Harnessing his knowledge of the geology, chemistry, physics, and biology of crude oil, he will provide a scientist's-eye view of the spill and its implications for the future of human- and plankton-kind. Failing that, he'll just give a fun talk, and, whattheheck, you might learn something. View the seminar slides at http://gallery.me.com/scxq28
"Skepticism is the first step toward truth. It must be applied generally, because it is the touchstone" - Denis Diderot
