I said I was in Hanoi at the end. It was a verbal typo. I meant Hoi An!

How to create and keep your lather warm throughout a 3 pass shave without the use of a scuttle using lightweight, multi-purpose items.

  • also, what fabric did you say the shaving towel is made of? The audio is hard to hear. thanks!

  • It's flannel :) Bought for 10,000 Vietnamese Dong from some woman in a market.

  • It's just a flannel. Any piece of thick stuff will work, a small hand towel or anything that can hold hot water. A big flannel or thinnish hand towel will be fine.

  • Where did you get the steel mug? Do you find that it retains heat better than a ceramic mug?

  • Camping supply shop. The steel mug doesn't hold heat, as thin steel cools down quickly. It's the hot towel under the cup which provides the heat.
