*random guess to your problem* You probably need to understand the callout for concentricity. Remember that concentric is not coaxial. If you are trying to say that 4 points should lead to an axis of another 4 point cylinder you should have the callout for position (coaxial) because you trying to establish a true geometric counterpart. Concentric involves using two opposing points and taking the average to get a single midpoint that lies in a cylinder coaxial to the point. Just a guess.

We've just got the gage plus at work, really good! i've written some programs for it, won't give me the concentricity of a bore to a circle diameter in the program tho? any ideas plz

Yes, we have small probes for smaller parts and also special probes for individual parts or solutions.
