@macafedu Awe, I wish I could help! I know who can though. Google search Avian Avenue. Its a fun message board to join and you can ask everyone all sorts of questions. There are breeders and everything there that would know this sort of thing. I haven't a lot of patients for untame birds I'm afraid. I got sunny as a tiny handraised baby .. he was already tame. I hope you go to that board and ask for help. I really want you to enjoy your birds!

I've potty trained a big parrot, but not a teil. When I trained my cockatoo, it seemed like it was an accident actually. I'd take her out of the cage after sleeping. Then I'd put her on the door ... and wait. When she'd go, I'd make a fuss and pick her up. Eventually, when like 10 min would pass, if I put her back on the door, she'd go everytime. Later, she'd go to the door by herself to potty.

You know what cracks me up?? When he's calling the birds they ARE there. Right in his face. So what the heck does he WANT? lmao. Maybe kisses and hugs? When we call him, its to pull him up to our face, hug him, and give tons of kisses. So I know know.
