A musical Christmas comic from http://channelate.com

Lyrics:

Early Christmas morning we all came down the stairs.
To find there were no presents. Dad said that he suspected bears.
"Must've come after Santa left", he said as he instpected the floor.
Then Dad grabbed his gun and a knife and headed for the door.

"I'm off to fight those bears", he said as he put on his winter hat.
"It's their fault you have no presents, and they should die for that."
Our little hearts grew worried. Would Dad ever come back?
Would he succeed in his noble quest or die in a bear attack?

We cried until the evening, but Dad finally returned.
He said he'd killed them in their sleep and left their fat bear bodies to burn.
And although Christmas had been ruined, no presents to be had.
We were given the gift of revenge by our mighty, heroic Dad.

Many years had passed, and I have children of my own.
Christmas would be tight this year, so I asked Dad for a loan.
Instead he gave me some sound advice and with a twinkle in he eye. . .
He said, "When money's tight at Christmas, just be the hero in your lie".
