Moses and Paul were never in conflict! Jesus came to fulfill the old covenant and bring forth a new covenant - faith in Jesus Christ alone. And, of course, righteousness by faith was established back with Abraham. That is the gospel. All the old testament prophets and the temple rituals (particularly the day of atonement) pointed to Jesus. The old and new testaments represent one faith - no contradiction!!! Paul sets forth this unison eloquently in the book of Hebrews. Read this instead of BoM!
