no, the girl in the song is talking a father and a grand father. Don't let these crazy people tell you otherwise. They are the ones who want to take off Ernie and Bert because THEY see a gay relationship.

 Ever since I could watch TV, I saw ernie and bert. (I must have been atleast 5 years old)I NEVER not ONCE thought about anything gay. I like every other child out there, thought they were brothers.

what if they werent even talking about gays, and they were talking about kids living with divorced parents who are remarried. Then they would have two dads as well, but take it how you want.

What ever happened to the days when this was just a simple song!? If you ppl are finding hidden messages teaching kids to accept gays in sesame street then do it the ole fashion way and let them learn like we did or teach them and stop changing the world into a place where misunderstood ppl go on to do crazy stuff!

What an ASS!!! How else will kids learn what to expect when they leave their house or neighborhoods (or in your case probably a plantation or swamp!)

Listen, we can play the "what if" game until the sky falls but it isn't going to justify gay people who want to shove all of their fetishes in my face and the faces of my future children. I am aware that I can't hide everything bad from my kids life forever, but as a parent it will be my job to make sure they are exposed to certain parts of life when they are ready. If they are exposed to certain things before they are ready (which they probably will) I will do my best to teach them what it is.

Your problem is YOU think about what they do. You think kids are going to sit there and wonder what gay people do in the bedroom? they not going to do that more than they wonder about mommy and daddy. smh. I hate it when parents use their kids as an excuse for their own ignorant beliefs "Oh what about the children" Save it. They are people just like me and you. There is no reason to treat them like anything less. Stop trying to make excuses for your own ignorance.
