Reba talking about the plane crash

It's so cruel how people attacked Reba for performing at the Oscars so soon after the crash, accusing her of being disrespectful and money-minded. Did they want her just to continue sitting at home crying? Her band would have wanted her to go ahead with the performance, and she knew that. She wasn't disrespecting them; she was honoring them.

I just love this woman!! Hate to see her cry!

It sounded like Lorianne Crook talking to her and her husband was cold to her

ALSO! you cant stop your life because some people pass away.....life goes on...and i dont mean to sound insensitive, but its true ive learned...there is a time for mourning...you cant waller in it for the rest of your life...where would that get you?

most people are in the media for that specific reason.....yet i truly believe that she is mostly in it for singing and making people happy....if she was ALL MONEY ORIENTED then her fan website would cost money to become a member...but it doesnt...she has a wide fan base...she would be making hundreds of thousands on the website ALONe, yet shes not..dont be so harsh on the woman...@josh80s @vtnhskier

my stepfather knew Reba`s ex husband, and supposedly she is VERY career oriented...but there is nothing wrong with that...her ex never said she was heartless or ruthless. he just wanted her to stay at home and she didnt want to do that. from what i have heard, Reba is a very delightful person to be around. of course her and her music inspire me, but i dont know her...@Josh80s and @vtnhskier i dont believe that MONEY is her motivation...yet, i see no problem with her being in the business for tha

@vtnhskier Whatever you believe her motivation to be the fact is that Rebas continued success has kept the memory of those people alive in the hearts of many Reba fans. Had she curled up quit music they would be footnotes to everyone except their best friends and family. There would be very few people with careers if we all quit when someone died, entertaining is a career and quitting is for cowards.

I am seeing all these people in the comment section saying they agree with this josh person, If I ever heard anyone say anything bad about Reba near me, I would seriously injure them, Reba is a nice person, she doesn't just care about money, some people might, but she is a very sweet and caring person I know that.

@josh80s and as far as walking up to her in a grocery store or mall, I know people who have, but they respected her by asking for her permission & were treated with respect & friendliness, besides, what right do we have to just go up to her when she is in private citizen mode trying to get some shopping done? Yes, she is a celebrity, but she is a human first & even celebrities have a right to privacy, but yet people go up to them and act like they have been best friends forever

@josh80s Cruel & insensitive? I think not, her band would want her to keep her commitment even though she had every reason not to go on. Why should Reba let anything hold her back? Why should anyone? I have lost many loved ones & none of them would want me to just quit life. My mom died & the day after her memorial, I had to start cleaning her apartment out, did I want to? NO, I had to, so I swallowed hard & started going through her things. Did Reba want to go on that stage? No, but she did

@josh80s you know what is insensitive, the way you disrespect people. She's telling a true story so back off.
Apparently, your mother didn't teach you any manners or "when you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all"!
