This oldie was released originally as the ending song in the VCD version of the 1998 album 皇牌影视金曲2 (Grand Television Golden Hits no. 2). It wasn't included in the high definition DVD version that was also released that same year.

葛军 (Ge Jun) was the original singer of this song and it was used as the song in the 1952 movie series: "A River Of Spring Water Flow Eastward" (一江春水向东流). The lyrics of this song was taken from a folk song of the Jiangsu Province in China (江苏民歌).
