HD ALASKAN JOURNEY TO ENDANGERED SEA-LION COLONY

This stellar sea lion haul-out is located in Lynn Canal between Juneau and Haines, Alaska. It is directly in the path of Sarah Palin's proposed NEW (yes there is another!) ROAD TO NOWHERE. The State of Alaska plans to dynamite a road right through the cliff above the haulout. The purpose of the road is to make us drive 53 miles to get to the (proposed new $500 million) ferry terminal, instead of only driving 14 miles to get to the existing ferry terminal. STUPID!

i'm sure if they just have a sea-lion massacre to begin with, they won't have to relocate those pesky things.

Floyd: How many thousands of years do you think these creatures have been utilizing this spot? Is there really no alternative place for them to have a similar spot. (They obviously like it best right here.) Is any U.S. money going to be used in this project? Do the feds know about the impact of the road? Will the road definitely push the animals out?

Or will they be able to remain where they are, and be seen by more people? Will this endanger the species? Magnificent filming! Tome

This video footage is AMAZING ! The roar of all the Sea Lions is incredible ! HOW? WHY? Why would they build a road here and destroy this haven for these incredible gentle animals ???? What a healthy Bunch of Sea Lions :)
