Idk I bought one just to see. I thought it worked now I'm skeptical. My boyfriend put it on his grand pop who really has a hard time getting off the couch. He got up much much better with a slight struggle. I was wearing it and laid my wrist on my 5month daughter without noticing and she was sitting up. When I noticed I took that shit off so fast it was weird. Now she wobbling to sit up. So idk guys
