ive had friends ditch me for watchin anime too. they call them silly cartoons. theyre just a sorry excuse for humans. im from america and all the people i know are normally very stereotypical towards japan. karera wa korosou ataishimasu
@theblackrainbow21 that's weird, I've never experienced anything negative for liking anime, jrock or anything foreign (such as food). then again maybe it has to do with location and age groups. i live in new york, so 'weird' things arent that weird here i guess. its pretty widely accepted here as long as you don't cosplay. though my gf bought a bento box from a local Japanese restaurant, had it for lunch, and was questioned constantly 'how can you eat that stuff?" by older co-workers.
