@GMisurdaddy not only that but they have great big long strokes and great big long connecting rods. they also have a taller deck than a BBC. yep once you go pontiac you never go back. the thing that sucks is the parts cost about twice as much as a chevy. so its a trade off.

@ACHEESEDANISH00 what kills me is a small block chevy's valve angle is 23 degrees stock, and 18 degree heads are considered exotic full on race heads, yet pontiac heads came with a 14 degree valve angle from the factory!

@lordcrusade trust me pontiac motors have way more potential than any chevy. my 2:64 one tire fryer 72 firebird with a stock cam and stock heads at 7.6:1 compression 350 with an automatic with light up the tires all day long very very easy. all you gotta do is get into the throttle a little too fast. only thing not stock is intake and carb.
