The new one from huber. virginia, kentucky with whiskey - i think a affinity to chieftains lowland, highland or islay mixture made by kohlhaase and kopp in germany for chieftains.

Many thanks for the review in English, there are many bad whiskey blends out there, Peterson's is ok but not enough whiskey taste. I know Chieftains is mainly a Scottish whiskey company focused on German markets who have expanded into pipes tobacco, I think it's a smart marketing idea. I will for sure try this blend.

hi dub, you are quite welcome. a good one i smoke for a longer time is "treasures of ireland - shamrock" by danpipe. the chieftains are all this 3 good, lowland has this lakeland flavour i like...

Whisky klingt doch schon mal gut. Leider bin ich der englischen Sprche nicht zu sehr gewachsen. Was mich beruhigt an dem Video ist, das Du auch nachzünden musstest. ;) Also bei manchen Tabaken darf man da Feuerzeug nich zu weit weglegen, bei anderen benötige ich es nur 2 - 3 mal. Aber ich bin ja noch in der Übungsphase. ;)

Übrigens gehört der Larson No.50 bereits zu meinen Lieblingstabaken. Mindestens eine Pfeife jeden Tag damit ist ein MUSS für mich.

hi thomas, das nachzünden ist normal - zum einen reden und nich rauchen - zum anderen ist mancher tabak zu feucht und brauchst erst ne ablüftung, zum teil über nacht. dann aber ist da kein problem mehr die pfeife in gang zu halten. von larsen kann ich auch den 20 und den 80 empfehlen. es gibt einfach zu viele.... - aber das ist auch gut so.

thts a generous sample n very nice review,,ive tried few whiskey blends but they all went bad,,cnt really enjoy them,,this one seems to b a winner
