I've been to every one of Janet's tours since 1990,and this by far surpasses all of them! The vocals are strong,the dancing is on point,the visuals are hot!I'm already going to DC show,but may have to check out the NY show,too!!

You damn right I still be blasting Rhythm Nation & all her other old skool stuff in my car and on my home stereo system. In fact, I was just blasting it yesterday. Just because the music is old doesn't mean people don't still play it. That's what's wrong with most young people today. If it ain't new they don't want to hear it anymore. I appreciate all of Janet's music old and new. I'm only 18 too. Janet Jackson is her own person and she doesn't follow what everyone else dose. She's not Madonna!

So true! It was so weird at first NOT seeing the zuit suit during Alright but it was also refreshing that she did something different this time.

Janet totally changed the image of herself while performing this concert. No standard costumes for certain songs, like "Alright" she re-created the video costume for this song in her past 3 concerts and this one she totally went in another direction, making it so the crowd isn't re-watching her perform this song in another version of the zuit-suit costume for Alright. I also LOVE the hair and that it isnt down covering her beautiful face because of it being long and wet. WTG J, U R the BEST !!

I can't understand why you would make a comment like that on a site that's about her for one. For two she's been around for nearly if not over 30 years and has sold more than 100 million albums, had three films debut and no.1 and six albums debut at no.1 She is as big as it gets and has rivaled with the best of them, there is room for more than one Jackson, thank you.

you know i wanted to get as many pictures as i could with such a low battery but i knew more people woule be able to appreciate a little bit of video! THE CONCERT WAS AMAZING. honestly there was more to look at on the "velvet rope tour" but all we really care about is janet and she rocked it for 2 solid hours. i love her

I used to be a HUGE Janet fan & seen all her concerts but, come on JANET! IT'S 2008 NOT 1989! Chill wit the whole OLD CHOREOGRAPHY! It was GROUNDBREAKING in 1989! Not NOW! The whole chair routine, rythm nation dance, ENUFF! DO SOME NOW DANCING MAN! And the picking a guy from the crowd...TIRED!!! Guess this is why she's DOMESTIC and not going OVERSEAS. She aint what she used to be!

fans want to see her do her old routines. its what made her big. she did also have some new routines, if the old dances work, why change. ;)
